Since I have a tent, we should go camping. Nice logic. Colleague had recommended "Lulworth Cove", and since it wasn't far and did not require highways (jams on fridays), that's where we should be heading for the weekend.
Weather forecast was terrible (hurricane Bertha?), but some hardship should be interesting. While not a nightmare to pitch up the tent, ground was wet and required more groundsheets in the tent to keep our mattresses dry. Wind was really strong throughout the night and tent was noisy with those movements.
Fortunately, weather was great the next day and we got to go the the beaches. Lulworth Cove is nice. But what we weren't prepared for, and surprised, were the beaches next to it. Really hard to get to, but highly recommended. Pity that we had forgotten to pack a proper camera.
